The Problem
Given the irregularities of the English Gregorian calendar, performing mathematical operations with dates can be a
frustrating exercise. Seven months have 31 days, four have 30, and one has 28, unless it's a leap year,
in which case it has 29. If you throw in the fact that the first of each month generally falls on a different day of
the week every year; and, people define 'workdays' & 'holidays' differently, well ... I think you're beginning to
get the picture!
The Solution
WinDate Calculator is a handy, date calculator utility for the PC desktop that gives you the ability to effortlessly
answer all the aforementioned questions, and more, without having to manually thumb through the calendar. It can work
with any dates between Sept. 14, 1752 (the official beginning of the English Gregorian calendar) and Dec. 31, 3999. It
gives you the ability to mark recurring holidays, define your own count criteria, & can optionally sit in your
Windows Systray, where it's handy any time you need it. It can perform calculations by days, weeks, months, or years
& the results can be printed. The resulting dates from your calculations can be copied &
pasted into any accepting text based application using your choice of date formats. It automatically converts Gregorian
dates to Julian or vice versa & it displays the week number for any date you select. Resizing the window to a single
month calendar view provides a reference tool for quickly answering any calendar related questions you might have.
